James Edward Garrett IV passed away on September 5, 2024. He was born on November 16, 1982 to James Eddie Garrett III and Anna Pole.

James was a very kind and loving person. He had a kind soul, a great artist, enjoyed good food and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward “Duke” Carver and Shirley M. Oglesby, James Edward Garrett I, James “Eddie” Garrett II; brother, Matthew C Garrett.

James is survived by his parents, James “Eddie” Garrett III and Debbie, Pete Barnes, Ricky and Anna Pole; his sons, Kaden Garrett and  Shelby Garrett; his siblings, Amanda Leigh, Sara Roberts and Caleb, Deidra Vaught and Marlin; grandparents Larry and Kay Martin; numerous great aunts and uncles, aunts and uncles, cousins, great cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends, Carolyn Noah, Wayne Plunk, Clint England, Glenn London and LeAnn Smith.

A special thank you from the family to everyone for the prayers and everyone that helped in the search for James. A special thank you to Jessica, JJ Bagley, Bobby, JJ Jacobs, Parker Sain, Clint England, Glenn London and Mark Baker.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Broken Bow, OK with Caleb Roberts speaking.
