James Harold “Sam” Sargent passed from this life Monday, February 20, 2023 in Broken Bow, OK at the age of 63. He was born October 19, 1959 in Covina, CA the son of James Harold Sargent, Sr. and Joyce Ellen (Johnson) Sargent.

Sam loved riding motorcycles and spending time at Broken Bow Lake. He enjoyed skiing and really liked slalom skiing. He was an excellent carpenter. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Harold Sargent, Sr. And Joyce Ellen Sargent; his brother, Bradley Joel Sargent.

Sam is survived by his children, Kathleen Sargent, James Sargent and Jordan Sargent; brother Joe Sargent and wife, Celia of Idabel; sisters, Jana Smith and husband, Mike of Holly Creek, Sonya and husband, Bob; several grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Jennifer Bolt Mulkey and Terry Adams.

A Private service will be held at a later date.
