James Martin Nichols passed away Wednesday, May 31st at the age of 65. He was born in Redding, CA on January 28, 1958, the son of James Earl and Norma Jean (Denison) Nichols.

James was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed riding horses, working cattle, and taking care of his cats and dogs. He loved his family and cherished spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Nichols; paternal grandparents, John and Minnie Nichols; maternal grandparents, James Beverly and Ruth Denison; son, Schuyler Nichols.

James is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Nichols of Bethel; children, Rhiannon Nichols of Vacaville, CA and Sarah Kelly of Concord, CA; brother, Stanton Nichols of Vacaville, CA; sister, Regina Clark and Brian of Haworth; grandchild, Aubrie Alfred; nieces and nephews, Justin Nichols, Leah Nichols, Blade Clark, Autumn Davis and husband, Justin; other family members and a multitude of friends.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. David Hardin officiating. Interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery, Bethel, OK.
