James William "Archer" McDonald, 83, of Broken Bow, OK, passed away on October 20, 2024. Born on January 22, 1941, in Glover, Oklahoma to parents, Floyd Earl and Florida Odell (McClendon) McDonald.

James and Delia Grace were married on April 29, 1976, and shared forty-eight years together. He was a devout member of Lukfata Baptist Church and enjoyed singing there.

James was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, elk and deer hunting, fishing, and gardening.  James cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Delia McDonald; children, David McDonald, Susan (McDonald) LamBeth, Bobby Don McDonald, and Jason McDonald; two sisters, Georgia Whisenhunt and Wanda Turner; grandchildren, Tyson, Keith, Whit, Wesley, Kris, Kendal McDonald, Abigail Keeton, Carra and Collton Kirby, Clay, Clint and Makala McDonald, and Kenden Pugh; and twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Florida McDonald; sons, Jimmy and William McDonald; grandson, Levi McDonald; and brother, Bobby McDonald and sister, Joy McDonald.

Visitation is set for Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 6-8 P.M., at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Lukfata Baptist Church in Lukfata, OK, with Bro. Chip Pinkerton officiating. Interment will follow at Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, OK.
