Jamie Gamble Obituary

Jamie Sue Gamble, 58, of Broken Bow, entered into rest September 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and rodeo grit. Born September 11, 1966, in DeQueen, Arkansas, she was the cherished daughter of Buddy and Bobbie (McGovern) Gamble.

Jamie’s life was defined by her passion for horses and the rodeo. She thrived in the arena, whether barrel racing, teaching kids to goat tie, or simply enjoying time with her horses. Her white pony, Blue, was a faithful companion in her younger years, and her mother, Bobbie, was always nearby—faithfully watching and recording her times. Some of Jamie’s fondest memories were made outdoors with her horses and in life’s simple joys, like stopping for a cheeseburger with her momma.

She found immense pride in watching her daughter, Jasie, carry on the rodeo tradition through goat tying and breakaway roping. That joy and pride were among her greatest blessings.

Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Gamble; grandparents, Robert and Wilma McGovern and Dexter and Laura Bell Gamble; brother-in-law, Don Brock; and her uncle, Clovis McGovern.

She is survived by her daughter, Jasie Hamlin of Bartlesville; her father, Buddy Gamble of Broken Bow; her brother, Bosco and wife Tammy of Broken Bow; her sister, Debbie Brock of Broken Bow; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She will also be fondly remembered by Randell Pratt, Melinda Camp Moyer, Angela Fairless, Susan Rothstein, Tammy Jamison, and Dawna Brockman.

Jamie’s love for her family, her community, and her rodeo family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services are set for 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK with Kyle Pratt officiating.
