Janet Wilson, 70, of Broken Bow passed away on May 29, 2026 in Paris, Texas. She was born on January 5, 1956, in DeQueen, Arkansas.
Janet loved God deeply, and her faith was an important part of who she was. She especially loved her grandchildren, and they were among the greatest joys of her life. She also loved animals and found delight in their companionship. Her laugh and her smile were gifts to everyone who knew her, and those memories will remain a source of comfort to her loved ones. She worked for Poulan Co. in DeQueen for more than twenty years. Her life was one of devotion to family, faith, and the everyday joys that give life its deepest meaning. Her smile could brighten the room, and her laugh could lift the spirits of those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Hudson and Mattie Marie (Amos) Hudson; her grandson, Gabriel Wilson; her brothers, Jimmy Hudson, Jr. and Donald Hudson
Janet is survived by her sons, Kenny Wilson and his wife Norma of Horatio, AR and Cliff Wilson Jr. of Broken Bow; step sister, Michelle Brewer; She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Dakotah Wilson, Ayden Wilson, Kylie Wilson, and Christian Wilson; niece, Patti; a special cousin, Teresa Maturino “Gal”; numerous other cousins; a dear friend, Ludy and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, June 5, 2026 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services are set for 11:00 Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Myrtlewood Baptist Church, Broken Bow, OK with Jay Mule officiating. Interment to follow at Myrtlewood Cemetery.
