Jason "Sonny" Jefferson Obituary

Jason “Sonny” Allan Jefferson passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his home in Bethel, OK. Jason was born on October 16, 1971, the son of Jimmie Jefferson, Sr and Ruthie Mae Jefferson.


Jason was known to be a quiet man who loved movies, fishing, listening to various music, going to pow-wows, riding and working on bicycles. He also enjoyed going to gospel singings  with his dad at the Rock Creek Church in Honobia, OK.


He is preceded in death by his mother Ruthie Mae Jefferson and numerous aunts and uncles and extended family.


Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his father, Jimmie Jefferson, Jr.; two brothers: Jimmie Jefferson, Sr of Battiest, and Darrell Jefferson of Broken Bow; five sisters: Pamela Burris and Robbie of Tulsa, OK, Lisa Estrada of Alpharetta, GA, Geneva Coley and Curtis of Broken Bow, OK, Andrea Jefferson and Gaylon of Pickens, OK, and Crystal Jefferson and Junior of Red Oak, OK; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.


 Graveside services for Jason “Sonny” Allan Jefferson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2022, at the Kulli Chito Cemetery in Bethel, OK.


The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
