Jeanetta Tisho Jackson passed away peacefully while holding hands with her sweetheart on July 10, 2025 in Broken Bow, at the age of 70. Born on October 10, 1954 in Talihina, OK to the late Newman and Mary (Winship) Tisho, she lived a life marked by hard work, compassion, dedication, and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of family and faith.
Jeanetta was a lifelong member of the Tohwali United Methodist Church in the Oak Hill Community. She devoted many years to caring for others as a nurse at Broken Bow Health & Rehab, where her gentle touch, warm smile and sarcastic wit brought comfort and laughter to countless individuals. Her life was one of joyous gatherings, as she found great pleasure in collecting photos and organizing family events that brought everyone together.
She is preceded by her parents, Newman and Mary Mae (Winship) Tisho; her nephews, Allen, Jerrod, and Arlin Tisho; and niece, Lindsey Roberts.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Richard of the home; daughter, Candace Perkins and her favorite son-in-law, Skyelar Perkins of Durant, OK. Jeanetta's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Aidan and Laysen Perkins of Durant, OK, who were the light of her life. Jeanetta was the beloved sister to Wayne, Rusty, Rico, Kenneth, Buck, and Wesley Tisho, and sister Kathy Tisho. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Monday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services are set for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Tohwali United Methodist Church, Oak Hill Community, with Pastor Flo Williston officiating. Interment to follow at the Tohwali United Methodist Cemetery.
