Jerry Wayne Dumont

Jerry Wayne Dumont, age 79, of Broken Bow, OK passed away on May 25, 2023.  He was born the son of William Bud Dumont and Sally Ann Dumont on April 9, 1944 in Bakersfield, California. 
Unknowing to the U.S. Army, Jerry had joined at the age of 15 and served his country until age of 19.  He then worked as an operator for 35 years for Weyerhaeuser.  Jerry greatly loved his wife Freida, they were married on December 7, 2000 in DeQueen, AR.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He also loved his dogs, Boomer and Patches. Dad will always be our hero.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Sally Dumont; son, Ronnie Dumont; daughter, Glenda Dumont; five brothers, Cecil, Jack, Harlen, J.D., and Doyle Dumont. 

He is survived by his wife Freida Dumont of the home; daughter, Jay Dumont and Jack Barker of Broken Bow, OK; stepsons, Jeremy Pole and Jason Pole of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Amber, Brandon and Jennifer, Michael and Lesa, Tanner, Geoffery, Kayla and Brett, Shaylee, Jeryn, Lauryn, and Garrett; great-grandchildren, Roper, Ryder, Keira, Railyn, Aubrey, Hadley, Ben, and Beth; great-great grandchildren, Saylor, Wrynlee and Rhett; special brother-in-law, Ray Lackey; along with many other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 6-8 pm in the Bunch-Singleton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2 pm in the Bunch-Singleton Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating.
