Jesse S. Benson

Jesse S. Benson, age 73 of Topeka, Kansas passed from this life on Sunday November 18, 2018   in Topeka, Kansas.  Jesse was born September 30, 1945, the son of the late Vernon and Audrey Benson. Jesse retired from the Sante Fe Railroad after working there for forty years. His memory will be forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Audrey Benson; sister, Patsy Oliver and niece Stephanie Nichols.

His memory will forever be cherished by his brother, Earl Benson and wife, Barbara of Topeka, Kansas; sisters, Ginger Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas and Sammie Bowen of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; six nieces, three nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 018 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Bro. Jimmy Smalling officiating   

Interment will follow at the Eagletown Cemetery.
