Jimmie Jones Obituary

Jimmie Lee Jones, age 61, of Idabel, Oklahoma passed away on January 12, 2022, in Idabel, Oklahoma. Jimmie was born on July 8, 1960, in Hugo, Oklahoma to the late Lelan Royce and Jean Jones.

Jimmie was a truck driver by profession but had many other hobbies he greatly enjoyed. He loved tools and tinkering with motors. Jimmie was a very unselfish man who made friends everywhere he went with his dry sense of humor. He was easygoing and loved helping people. Jimmie loved spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved four dogs. He was extremely proud of his Indian Heritage.

On August 16, 2019, he married the love of his life Deborah who he was proud to say was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

He is survived by his loving wife Deborah; son, Samuel Ramey; stepsons, Thomas Brown and wife Tiffany, and Jacob Ramey; daughter in law, Alicia Smith; sisters, Linda Jones and Deborah McBrayer; grandchildren, Ethan Johnston, Farrell Potts, Dakota Johnston and Brittany Johnston; step grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Daniel Brown and Joshua Brown. Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will be holding a memorial service for Jimmie at 10:00 am on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Faith Christian Center in Broken Bow. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bunch -Singleton Funeral Home.
