Jimmy Lee Knight, 62, passed away April 7, 2022 at Paris Regional in Paris, Texas. He was born October 17, 1959 to Billy Carrol Holland and Lonie R. Davis (Wright).
Jimmy and Gayle were married on April 1, 1988 in Houston, TX and spent 35 wonderful years together. Jimmy was the owner and operator of Knight Repair Service, servicing his community for over 20 years, repairing appliances and caring for many cabin companies in our area. He truly enjoyed cruising God’s Country. He was also a mechanic at James Hodge Dodge for two and a half years, working beside his son, Wesley. Jimmy loved his cars, going fishing and camping. He won 4th place at the bass tournament in Eufaula with his friend Ed Carter back in 2020. Jimmy was a man of faith and greatly enjoyed spending time with his family as he dearly loved his children and grandchildren.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Gayle Knight of the home; daughter, Monique Knight of the home; son, Wesley Knight, wife Cari and their children, Cameron and Cailyn; mother, Lonie “Rickie” Davis of Vidor, TX; brother, Jerry Holland and wife Sherri of FL, nephews Michael Holland and Robert Holland of FL; brother, Joe Holland of TX; niece, Susie Walsh and children of Broken Bow, OK; Sister-in law, Janet Cofer and husband Mark of Livingston, TX; special friends, Jerrell Coleman of Holly Creek, Ed Carter and wife Kathy of Holly Creek, Stephen Haley and wife Darlene of Holly Creek; along with many other friends, and daughter, Jessica White and family of South Dakota.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 22, 2022 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
