On September 15, 2021, Jimmy Ray “Coon” Willis took his final journey, passing from this life into the next at the age of 63.
Jimmy was born May 21, 1958, to Annie Mae Wilson and Jimmerson Willis. He enjoyed his childhood by running around the woods and dirt roads of Oak Hill Community, with his siblings and all the area kids. After graduating from Broken Bow High School, Jimmy entered the United States National Guard and served his country for nine years. He was a Proud Choctaw Veteran.
“Coon” as he was always referred as, was welcomed into heaven by both of his parents, Jimmerson and Annie Wilson; sisters, Sarah Salisbury, Shirley Wickson, and Betty Morales; brothers, Charles Willis, and Michael Willis; nieces, Veanna Wickson and Belinda Willis; nephew, David Wickson; brother in laws, Gilbert Jones and Deroy Shomo.
His memory will be forever cherished by his surviving family; son, Jeremy Ray Willis; daughter, Lena Rochelle Willis; grandchildren, Konner and Kasity Walls, also mother to his children and friend, Paula Baker; sisters, Minnie Jones and Faye Shomo; brothers, Andrew Willis and wife Darlene, Nathan Willis; sister in law, Ramona Willis; and special nephew Chimon Willis; also over thirty nieces and nephews that will forever cherish their time with our Moshi along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00 P.M. Sunday September 19, 2021, at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.
Graveside Service 10:00 A.M. Monday September 20, 2021, at Watson Memorial Cemetery Oak Hill Community.
