Jimmy “Jabo” Westbrook passed from this life Thursday, April 28, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born December 12, 1939 in Wright City, OK the son of Wylie Watson and Georgia Ellon (Wolfe) Westbrook.
Jabo was a member of the Old Burwell Church of Christ. He was a “Lifetime cowboy” He enjoyed training horses, going to dances, playing pitch with friends and working hay with his buddies. He worked at Weyerhaeuser for forty-two years before retirement. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wylie and Georgia “Baby Doll” Westbrook; his wife, Dorothy J Westbrook; his son, Wylie Wayne Westbrook; stepdaughter, Wendy Wolfe and brother, Bernie Ray Westbrook.
Jabo is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Tim Mills; stepdaughter and husband, Sherry and Randall Bray; mother of his children, Anna Westbrook; sister, Renee Stuart; grandson, Colton Mills and wife, Kobi, granddaughter, Dru and Dustin Brantley; grandson, Dylan Wolfe, step-grandchildren, Kayla and Lexi Bray; great-grandchildren, Raegan Lee and Walker Lee Brantley; niece, Breanna Coffman and fiancé, Alex Frazier; nephew, Jim Stuart; great niece, Creedence Cole; special friends, Stoney and Tammy Belk, Floyd and Tonya Sanford, Jim and Marie Burton, Rabo and Janetta Moore, Sam and Kelly Burton, Joker and Faith Stuart, Faye Donaldson and Pansy Parsons; a host of family and a multitude of friends.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 2, 2022 at Green Chapel Church, Herndon Community with Bro. Tag Rowan and Billy Dale officiating. Interment to follow at Old Ringold Cemetery, Ringold, OK.
