JoAnn Huffman

January 25, 1932 ~ September 4, 2021 (age 89)



JoAnn Huffman, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 4,2021 she was 89 years old.

She was born January 25,1932 to David and Pearl Beckman in Bethel, OK. JoAnn was a caring devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved visiting with family and friends, telling stories of the yesterdays. Her hands were rarely still. She loved baking pies and tending to her flowers. Her arms were always ready to give a hug, her hugs were the best. All who loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm and her love and care for them. He life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32- “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, David, and Pearl Beckman; son, David Bray; daughter, Gwen Whitten; and great-great grandson Cade Richbourg.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son Don Bray and wife Gay of Dierks, AR; grandchildren, Kyle Whitten and wife Lori of Broken Bow, OK, Kerri Whitten of Broken Bow, OK, Angela Tilly and Valanthony Golston of Idabel, OK, Brad Hix and wife Ashley of Monhanas, TX, Karen Garner and husband Brad of New Hope, AR, Brad Bray and wife Karla of Umpire, AR, Jennifer Pertrick of Oregon, and  Alisha Dehart of Broken Bow, OK; great grandchildren, Maleah Tisho, Valanthony Golston Jr., Kambrin Golston, Elijah Golston, Blaire Garner, Jenna Bray, Kaydra Ayers, Kendall Ayers, Jacklyn Morgan, Kayla Whitten, Kaylee Donaldson, Amanda Duncan, Braiden Duncan, Wade and Alisha Lawless, Emily and David Richbourg, Brayden, Donovan, Alexia, Sadia Hix, and Dawson Westbrook; 14 great-great grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday September 7,2021 at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. September 8,2021 at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oak Hill Community with Bro. Cole Bryan officiating.  

Services are under the direction of Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.
