Joan (Russell) Storey

Joan (Russell) Storey passed from this life Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 65.

She was born Sunday, March 31, 1957 in DeQueen, AR to parents, Jessie and Maxine (Dobbs) Russell.

Joan was a member of the Lukfata Baptist Church. She was a secretary at Lukfata School for over twenty years. She cherished spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Maxine Russell and brother, Larry Russell.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Leah McCain and husband, Sidney of Broken Bow, OK, Kerri Terry and husband, Rueben of Cato Mills, TX and Jamie Storey from Irving, TX; sister, Leslie Seigler and husband, Roger of Wake Village, TX; sister-in-law, Carla Kates of Haworth, OK; grandchildren, Max and Miles McCain and Caroline, Georgia and Scarlett Terry; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Graveside Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Friday morning, September 2, 2022 at Horatio Cemetery, Horatio, AR with Michael Harcrow officiating.
