Joe Cusher, of Pickens, OK completed his earthly journey, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Paris, Texas at the age of 54. He was born March 12, 1969 in Lawton, OK to parents, John Edward Cusher and Mildred Sue (Noah) Cusher.
Joe was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder and Worship Leader for the Choctaw Agency. He loved his church and enjoyed singing. He was a 1988 graduate of Battiest High School and was proud of his Choctaw Heritage and enjoyed watching his sons play Stickball. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, team roping, and cowboying. Joe worked for Tyson food for twenty-five years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Cusher; brothers, Mike, Sam and Roger Cusher.
Joe leaves to cherish his memory sons, Jonathan Cusher and Colton Cusher both of Durant, OK; brothers, Don Cusher of Altus, OK, Dakota Cusher of Blair, OK, Cody Cusher of Altus, OK; sisters, Cynthia Cusher and Anita Cusher both of Pickens, OK; mother of his children, Gayle Cusher of Durant, OK; special nephews, Brixton Williams, and JJ Zambrano; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.
