Joe Edward White

Joe Edward White, 61, of Broken Bow passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 in Plano, TX. He was born January 6, 1962 in Little Rock, AR the son of Hollis Wade and Ruby (Thompson) White. 

Joe and Melinda Beggs were married February 11, 1983 and shared forty years together. 

Joe was affiliated with Springs of Life Church in Glover, OK and he loved the Lord. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and carpentry. He was always helping others and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Ruby White; brothers, Hollis Wade White, Jr. and Virgil White; sisters, Linda Sue Phillips, Nancy Alford and Margaret Mersman. 

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Melinda White of the home; son, Joseph White of Broken Bow; nephews, Wade White of Idabel and Mike White of Oak Hill; sisters, Helen Phillips and husband, George of Antlers, Joyce Phillips and husband David of Antlers and Phyllis Hughes of DeQueen; grandchildren, Destiny White, Aaron White and Taylor White all of Broken Bow; sister-in-law, Virginia White of Oak Hill; brothers-in-law, Richard Cathey and Otis Beggs both of Oak Hill; best friend, Charles Dunlap of Antlers; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. 

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow. 

Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Watson Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Don Batchelor officiating.
