Johnnie L. Gallatin passed from this life Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the age of 77. She was born November 1, 1945 in Garvin, OK to parents, Lester and Fannie Lou (Woods) Magar.
Johnnie was a very sociable person and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a member of the Bypass Church of Christ in Idabel, OK until she moved to be close to her family in 2015. Her hobbies included crocheting, playing dominos, bingo, and marbles. She worked at Kiamichi- Chevrolet for several years. She enjoyed working in her Church and spending time with her family. Give her a Bible and a cup of coffee and she was happy. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Fannie Lou Magar; siblings, Jean Provence, L.V. Magar and Norma Smith.
Johnnie leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Michelle Berry and husband, Abe of Edmond, OK; special friend, Laura Bateman of Hooks, TX; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Kaufman, Chuck Smith, Bryan Provence, Angie Provence Little, Jim Magar, Jay Magar and Becky Pate; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Bypass Church of Christ, Idabel, OK with Jerry Falling officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
