Juanita Maxcine Gross

Maxcine “Granny Mac” Gross passed from this life Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born November 8, 1933 in Swink, OK to parents, Mack and Opal (Miller) Franks.

Maxcine was well known for her homemade pies and enjoyed cooking. She loved family gatherings and time spent with her grandkids and taking care of her flowers and plants. She also loved going to the Casino. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Opal Miller; husband, Arvey Gross; sons, Terry and Randy Gross; sister, Shirley Palmer; granddaughter, Sunshine Gross and great-great grandson, Kopelan Arriaga.

Maxcine is survived by her children, Jackie Gross and wife, Judy, Ronnie Gross and wife, Patricia, Tammy McCleskey and husband, John all of Wright City, OK; sisters, Elaine Shumate of Pensacola, FL, Linda Ashlock, Anna Brown both of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Shannon Gross, Brandyn Gross, Todd Gross, Brittany Scott, Nikki McCleskey, Mandi Fischer, Amberly Brown, Lindsey Burrell, Bronson Gross and RayDale McCleskey; twenty-two great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren; a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation is set for Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday at Green Chapel Church, Herndon Community with Tag Rowan officiating. Interment to follow at Valliant Cemetery, Valliant, OK.
