Judy (Johnson-Cox) Harvey, 78, of Seagraves, TX, passed from this life, at her home, on May 17, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
Judy was born in Broken Bow, OK, on February 27, 1942, to William Edward “Ted” Johnson and Donnie (Clouse) Johnson. She and Royce Harvey were joined in marriage, January 31, 1988, in Seagraves, TX, among the cotton fields and dune buggies, they had enjoyed 32 years together.
Judy was a loving and devoted wife and mother; she was of the Baptist faith. Judy enjoyed riding horses and cake decorating. She was a master oil painter and always a joy to be around.
Judy was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Cox; parents, Ted and Donnie Johnson; son, Steven Paul Cox; brother, Eddie Johnson; sister, Joyce Sargent; and granddaughter, Tanya Burnett.
She is survived by her husband, Royce Harvey, of Seagraves, TX; her children, Michelle Cox, of Broken Bow, Laurna Cox, of Valliant, Stacy Burnett, of Clarksville, TX; brother-in-law, Hyrum Cox and wife, Carmonetta, of Clarkston, WA; step-children, Kip Harvey and wife, Kim of Brownfield, TX, Cheryl Vaughn and husband, Derrick, of Abilene, TX; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; special friends, Patsy Peavy and Bobbie Gamble; as well as, many other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the Holly Creek Community Church, with Bro. Steve Walls officiating, interment will follow at the Holly Creek Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held, on Thursday, May 21, 2020, from 6:00PM – 8:00PM, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
