Judy Ann (Leathers) Prewitt

Judy Ann (Leathers) Prewitt passed from this life Monday, May 30, 2022 at her home in Golden, OK at the age of 71. She was born March 29, 1951 in DeQueen, AR to parents, Clifford and Mary Lou (Rowan) Leathers.

Judy and Lewis Prewitt were united in marriage May 1, 1998 at Springs of Light Church in Glover, OK and shared twenty-four years together.

Judy enjoyed fishing and camping and watching Lewis Lee race especially when he got the checkered flag. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. She cherished spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mary Lou Leathers; two brothers, Michael Leathers and Junior Leathers.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Lewis Lee Prewitt of the home; children, Gary Bray (Holly) of Bay City, TX, Chris Bray (Mechelle) of Broken Bow, Scott Bray of Broken Bow, Janetta Garrett (Chuck) of Valliant, Mitchell Prewitt of Tulsa, Richard Prewitt of Golden, Chenelle Campos (Tony) of Holly Creek; sister, Pricilla Rowan of Glover; brothers, Randy Rowan of Watson, OK, Charles Leathers of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Ronny Leathers of Wichita, KS; four grandchildren; four step grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 10:00 AM, Thursday morning at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Batchelor and Bro. Neil Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oak Hill Community.
