Julian A. Aebischer, age 92, passed from this life on August 29, 2023, in Claremore, OK. He was born on March 26, 1931, in Granite, Oklahoma to Earnest and Amanda Aebischer.
Julian loved fishing, baseball the “St. Louis Cardinals” being his favorite team, he loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was a member of Faithway Baptist Church in Rufe, Oklahoma.
Julian served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and had worked for Weyerhaeuser in Wright City for 36 years before retiring as the Powerhouse Operator.
Julian was preceded in death by his parents; wife, June (Petty) Aebischer, brothers, Bob, William, and Danny Aebischer and one sister, Fern.
He is survived by three sons, David and wife, Debbie Aebischer of Ringold, Ok; Pat Aebischer of Wright City, Ok; Kent Aebischer of Wright City, OK; one daughter, Stella Hash of Fort Towson, Ok; brother, Dick Aebischer of Penrose, Co; twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren, numerous great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm – 8 pm, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Bunch Singleton Chapel, Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, September 1, 2023, at Green Chapel in Herndon Community near Wright City, Ok. Interment will follow at Slater Cemetery, Wright City, OK. Rev. Lynn Gaskey and Rev. Randy Watkins will officiate.
