Mrs. Justene Annette (Ramsey) Ross was born April 19, 1972 to the late Lillie Mae (Hill) Young and Jessie Willard Ramsey in Idabel, OK. She went home to be with the Lord September 17, 2024 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, AR.
She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church while attending Broken Bow Public Schools where she graduated in 1990. She met the love of her life Mr. Steve Ross and on April 19, 2000 they were married in DeQueen, AR. Justene worked for Pilgrim’s Pride for over twenty-five years until her health failed her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Mrs. Jeffie Rene Ross; three brothers, Sam Young Jr., Anthony Young Sr., and Ronnie Young; three sisters, Sandra Green Lee, Rita Young and Sheila Young; nephews, Rickey Young, Jr., Jerel Westbrook, William Mack, Jr., Harold Cherry and Stevon Hammonds; nieces, Eileen Westbrook and Amanda Galloway; brother-in-law, Steve Hammonds; sister-in-law, Darla K Young;
She leaves to forever cherish her memory her loving husband of twenty-six years, Mr. Steve Ross; her father-in-law, Mr. James A Ross; her brother, Mr. Rickey Young, Sr. (Mikeyla) of Broken Bow, OK; four sisters, Denise Cherry (Harold) of Baton Rouge, LA; Eyvonne Garrett (David) of Broken Bow, OK, Cherri Hammond of OKC, OK and Cynthis King (Dwayne) of Broken Bow, OK; sister-in-law, Wanda Young of Broken Bow, OK; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services are set for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Jett and Rev. Larry Rutherford officiating. Interment to follow at Lukfata Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
