Karen Kaye (Kincaid) Wilkerson, age 76, of Broken Bow, passed from this life into eternity, September 11, 2020.
Karen was born, November 7, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Lance Kincaid and Vera (Walker) Kincaid.
She and Bill Wilkerson were united in marriage, January 8, 1962, in Del City, OK and shared fifty-eight years before her passing.
Karen was a totally devoted wife, and mother to her children, adopted children and grandchildren. Karen graduated from Midwest City High School in 1961. Se went on to get her beautician license from Midwest Beauty College. She won the Sooner State Beauty Competition in 1979. Besides doing hair, she loved doing makeup and making people look and feel pretty. She enjoyed gardening, nature and the animals coming to visit on the property. She loved watching softball and OKC Thunder. She enjoyed HGTV and started many projects from the ideas taken from the show. One of her favorite past times was visiting the casino and playing her favorite penny slots. She loved the Lord and loved witnessing. She was immensely proud of her heritage and being part of the original Hochatown legacy
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Lance and Vera Kincaid.
Karen welcomed her grandson, Seth Hutchison into her eternal home one day later.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Bill Wilkerson, of the home; three daughters, Kimberly Lynn Prince and Tony Williams, Sabra (Wilkerson) Holsey and husband, Jeffery, and Karrie Beth Kennedy and husband, Brad, all of Broken Bow; sister, Sandra Dennis, of Wapanucka, OK; five grandchildren, Tiffany Hartman and husband, David, of Sumpter, SC, Daniel Kennedy and wife, Heather, of Tuttle, OK, Randi Cubit, of Broken Bow, Summer Scarborough and husband, Brad, of Idabel, and Autumn Gamble, of Broken Bow; six great-grandchildren, Lauryn, Alyssa, Shelby, Marley, Keegan, and Hazel; also, numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held on, Friday, September 18, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at, 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Faith Christian Center, Broken Bow, OK, with Bro. Chuck Darby officiating, burial will follow at the Hochatown Cemetery.
