Larry Neal Larcade, 59, passed away October 20, 2020 in Plano, TX.
Larry was the son of Herbert and Charlene Larcade, born March 28, 1961 in Garland, TX. He graduated from Broken Bow High School. Larry then attended OSU and the Outward Bound leadership program in Colorado, where his love for the mountains and outdoors led him to attend the University of Utah where he received his B.A. and Masters Degree in Social Work. He spent many years working for the Department of Youth Corrections helping others better their lives. Larry loved the outdoors and enjoyed rock climbing, camping, hunting, but most of all he loved riding his motorcycle. After raising his children in Utah, he moved back to Broken Bow to be with his mother.
Larry was preceded in death by his father; two grandmothers; two grandfathers; aunt and uncle, Charles and Marion Dale; Uncle, George Larcade.
He is survived by his mother, Charlene Larcade of Broken Bow; his daughter, Skye Larcade Saunders and husband, Lance, of Salt Lake City, UT, his son, Grayson Larcade and partner, Leah Thackeray, also of Salt Lake City, UT; Kimberly Larcade, the mother of his children, Hamilton, MT; his brother, Dr. Lee Larcade and wife, Jodee , Les Larcade of Beaumont, TX; nieces, Mary Reid Larcade and Grace Caroline Larcade both of North Carolina; nephews, Joseph Larcade and Blake Larcade of North Carolina; aunt, Margie Larcade, of Muldrow, Ok; cousins, Bryant and Paul , Charla, Don, Gerrye Sue; special friends, Russ and Dana Willingham, Tim Stuart all of Broken Bow. Larry will be missed by many family and friends in Utah and Oklahoma.
As we fondly remember the words of Larry “It’s all part of the Adventure”.
Graveside services will be October 24, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., Broken Bow Cemetery with Pastor Fred Bray and Pastor David Hall officiating.
