Larry McDonald Obituary

 Larry “Booger” McDonald, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, at the age of 72. He was born on November 8, 1952, in DeQueen, AR, to Albert and Evelyn (Loman) McDonald.


Larry and Violet Evans were united in marriage on March 27, 1975 in Broken Bow and shared forty-two years together. He was a member of Victory Life Church in Broken Bow. He was a self-employed auto mechanic for many years. Larry was a devoted father and had a big heart and a giving spirit to help others. He cherished time spent with his family and friends. His hobbies included fishing, camping, hunting, cooking, going to car shows, four-wheeling and watching OU Football. He loved going to drag races and racing in them as well. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet in 2017; parents, Albert and Evelyn McDonald; brother, Warren McDonald; sisters, Jeanie Compton and Martha Raley; his good friend Ronnie O'Donnell.


He is survived by his sons, Chris McDonald and Tony McDonald; daughter, Lori Harris and Lejay; brother, Charlie McDonald and wife, Brenda; sister, Nancy McCain all of Broken Bow; best friend, Mike “Wally” Wallace; Larry also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will remember him fondly.


Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday afternoon at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.


Funeral Services are set to 2:00 PM, Monday, December 23, 2024 at Victory Life Church, Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
