Larry Simpson

Larry Simpson, age 80, of Ravenna, TX, passed away from this life on January 27, 2023 in Bonham, TX.  He was born the son of William Simpson and Mary Melissa McGough on March 14, 1942 in Eagletown, OK. 

Larry and Patsy were married on January 29, 1970 and spent many wonderful years together.  Larry had worked for Lambert Lumber for 15 years and spent several out in the log woods. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.   

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Simpson; along with several brothers and sisters. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Ruth Banks of Ravenna, TX; children, Lorie McKinney of Ravenna, TX and Edwin Lynn Simpson of Ravenna, TX; sister, Billie Jean McCoy of Texarkana, TX.

Graveside services were held Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Eagletown Cemetery.
