Larry Joe Sims

Larry Joe Sims, 72, of Broken Bow, passed from this life into eternity, July 15, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones.

Larry was born March 21, 1948 to, Joseph H. Sims (Pete) and Clarice Amy Turner Sims, in Dequeen, AR. He was joined in marriage to Debra Hudgins, April 19, 1997, in Horatio, AR, they enjoyed 23 years together.

Larry enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Larry was a member of the Good News Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clarice SIms; one son, Christopher Ware; brothers-in-law, Steve Hudgins and Danny Ledford; and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Helen Hudgins.

Larry is survived by his wife, Debra Sims, of the home; two sons, Eric Sims and wife, Deirdre, of Columbia, TN and Jacob Sims, of the home; two daughters, Brandi Scott and husband, Brian, of Broken Bow and Cheyenne Miller, of Broken Bow; five grandchildren, William, Taylor, Kylan, Ryker, and Grayce Lee; one brother, Roy Dale Daniel, of Broken Bow; two sisters, Mary Morgan, of Waco, TX and Rita Lofland and husband, Ronald, of Horatio, AR; sisters-in-law, Karla Smith and husband, David, of Broken Bow, and Derba Hudgins, of Broken Bow; as well as, many other, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at, 3:00 PM, on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the Good News Fellowship Church, with Pastor Doug Deramus officiating, burial to follow at Pine Top Cemetery.
