Larry Wayne Young

Larry Wayne Young, 47, of Ringold, OK passed from this life on March 30, 2021. He was born in Talihina, OK on June 14, 1973, the son of Larry Young and Eliza (Billy) Young.

Wayne was a wonderful son, brother, dad, grandpa, and friend. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed pestering his nieces and nephews and playing with the babies. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and just being in nature. He was a collector of antiques and coins. Wayne had a beautiful smile and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be remembered as a great man.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Young.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Eliza Young of Ringold; his children, Shyann Young and fiancé, Kolton Wooten of Broken Bow, Terri Young and Kaitlin Young both of Rufe; his sisters, Tammy Brooks and fiancé, Gerald Hider of Ringold, Kristi Poole and husband, Jeremy of Eagletown, Cindy Pickett and husband, Codi of Horatio, AR; grandchild, Hadley Wooten; 7 nephews and 2 nieces along with a host of loving family and friends.

Viewing for family and friends will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 4th at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Cogburn officiating. Private burial will follow at the Young Cemetery for family only.
