Laura Suzanne Uebelhart

"Suzy"

Suzy was born in Big Spring Texas September 15, 1948. She grew up in Big Spring Texas and loved sharing stories of her friends and family growing up and roller skating. She married the love of her life Jim on July 15th 1985 and they enjoyed 36 years of marriage. Suzy spent most of her life loving and caring for others with her giving heart. Suzy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Loving Jesus, taking care of her husband and raising two daughters was a true joy in her life.  

She was a special, beautiful woman that touched the hearts of many lives. Determination, perseverance and tenacity describe how she tackled life.  When she wanted to learn or accomplish something there was nothing that would stop her. She was a published author and taught herself through online study how to succeed in the industry. She put the same drive into learning the word of God which was the most important thing in her life. She would spend hours studying God's word and loved debating and discussing religion as well as politics, nutrition, and football.

Suzy is survived by her husband Jim, two daughters Kim Young, Katy Stephens; grandchildren Trevor Young, Rease Stephens, Baron Stephens; two brothers Roger and Ron Hubbard. She is preceded in death by her father Balfour Shelton Hubbard "Jr" and her mother Justine Doe Hubbard.   

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at County Line Cemetery, Pickens, OK.
