Leeroy Thompson

Leeroy Thompson age 60, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas with his loving family by his side. Leeroy was born on September 11, 1958 in Hochatown, Oklahoma the son of Johnny Thompson and Deta. Leeroy loved his job and was a dedicated employee with Jimmy Tucker Trucking for forty years. He had a beautiful smile and always happy and enjoying life. Matt especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was well liked and respected by everyone and will be missed by all who knew him. Leeroy married Alicia on March 28, 1995. Leeroy proudly served in 82nd Airborne division of the United States Army “Airborne All the Way”.

Leeroy was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Thompson and Deta Richards; stepfather, Marion Richards; brothers, Junior Richards, Jimmy Richards; sister, JoAnn Ebert; nephews, Bradley Higgins, Shane Ebert, and Aaron Ebert.

Leeroy leaves to cherish his memory his wife of twenty-four years, Alicia; children, Trenton Thompson and wife Precious of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Kelly Thompson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Andy Thompson and wife Winter of Texarkana, Micah Thompson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, grandchildren, Chase Thompson of the home, numerous other grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends also his  extended family of  Jimmy Tucker Trucking.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday June 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Bro. Jimmy Jeter officiating.
