Lenis Wesley

Lenis Wesley of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 91. He was born in Rufe, OK to Jackson and Clarissa Wesley (Caldwell). He was a member of the Choctaw Academy in Rufe, OK.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching baseball and basketball. He loved playing dominos and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Jackson and Clarissa Wesley; his son, Charles Allen Wesley; sisters, Margaret Billy, Mary Neeley and Josephine Taylor.

Lenis leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Lorita Son and husband, Gary of LaHabra, CA, Jeanette Kibbe and husband, Thomas of Anaheim, CA, Nadine Wesley of Idabel, Ramona Wesley of Sobol, OK, Verna Washington of Idabel, OK, Sandra Williams and husband, Johnny of Holly Creek, OK, Wanda Noah and husband, Dave of Idabel, OK, Richard Wesley of Wright City, OK, David Wesley and wife, Karen of Idabel, OK and Tommy Wesley and wife, Debra of Sobol, OK; brothers, Amos Wesley and wife, Cledith of Sobol, OK, Willis Wesley of Wright City, OK, Eugene Wesley and wife, Mae Wesley of Dallas, TX; twenty eight grandchildren, forty seven great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Sobol Baptist, Sobol, OK with Pastor Rosa Baker and Tommy Wesley officiating. With interment to follow at Choctaw Academy Cemetery, Rufe, OK.

A Wake Service will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.
