Leo Dwayne Mills

Leo Dwayne Mills, age 83, passed away January 21, 2022, in Sugarland, TX. He was born on September 21, 1938, in Redland, OK to the late Leo and Evelyn Mills.

Leo was a very loving husband and father. He loved to hunt and fish. Leo enjoyed carpentry, theater, musicals, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. In 1967 he moved from Oklahoma to Garland, TX where he lived for over 50 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joyce; children, Tina Tucker and husband Ken, Michael Dwayne Mills and wife Mary, and Bradley Mills and wife Mari; grandchildren, Chris Mills, Logan Mills, Wesley Mills, Leo Mills, Hollyann Flaminio; seven great-grandchildren; six brothers; and two sisters. Leo is preceded in death by his parents; son, John Wesley; granddaughter, Savannah Flaminio; brother, Denver Mills; sisters, Cheryl Mills and Linda Farmer; nephew, Jamie Farmer; and niece, Cheri Davis.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Hochatown Cemetery under the direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home. Visitation will be general at the funeral home. Per the request of the family, masks and social distancing will be required at the service.
