Leona May Phillips-Graham of Broken Bow, OK passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 9, 1934 to Mosco Leaford and Mattie Bell (Tiller) Smith in Battiest, OK.
Leona enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers, watching the birds and squirrels, and cooking for her family gatherings. She was known for her beautiful smile and good sense of humor and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Donald Frank Phillips; parents, Mosco and Mattie Bell Smith; son, Danny Frank Phillips; brother, Leaford Smith and sisters, Shirley Good, Helen Lambert and Lucy Smith.
Leona leaves behind her husband of over twenty years, Charles Gene Graham; her children, Larry Phillips (Pat), Darla Hilton (Robert), Tim Phillips (Devin) and Russ Phillips (Cyndi) all of Broken Bow; sister, Margert Berry of Texas; grandchildren, Danny Phillips, Robert Phillips, Melissa Thomas, Alicia Forbit, Dustin DeLozier, Holly Hammonds, Tony DeLozier, Shakota Hilton, Lindsey Wallis, Scott Phillips, Tricia Phillips and Betheny Nichols as well as numerous great and great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 Wednesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
A Celebration of Leona’s life will be held at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Greg Matlock officiating. Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery.
