Linda Moyer Scott Obituary

Linda Moyer Scott, known simply as Linda, passed away on May 30, 2026, in Frisco, Texas, at the age of 73. She was born on April 19, 1953, in Mena, Arkansas.

Linda loved spending time at the Cabin and found joy in the simple, meaningful moments shared with family and friends. You could always find Linda at Scott’s Arena running a roping event. She and Roy built the arena that holds so many memories, they would always find time to host a benefit roping event for someone in need or as a fundraiser for organizations like the Jaycees. She was a devoted supporter of Little League football as well. Above all else, Linda loved her children and grandchildren, and her devotion to them was evident in everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Scott; parents, Ives Moyer and Shirley Jo Allen; her mother and father-in-law, Joe and Louise Scott; her son, Perry Scott; her brothers-in-law, Jerry Scott, Charley Bray, and Steve Maberry; and her nephews, David Richbourg, Jeremy Alford, and Jason Stofregen.

Linda is survived by her sons, Stanley Scott and wife, Candi, and Brian Scott and wife, Brandi, all of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her brother, Darell Moyer and wife, Andria, of Idabel; her sister, Sharon Alford and husband, Larry, of Broken Bow; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul and Patsy Scott, Doris and Larry Richbourg, Martha Bray, Billy and Patty Scott, Linda Maberry, and Larry Gene and Melissa Scott. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Scott, Trey and Lexi Scott, and William Scott; her great-grandchildren, Caitie Joe Scott, Harper Lynn Scott, and Kash Allen Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
