Louisa Resendiz Obituary

Louisa Ann Resendiz, 73, of Broken Bow, OK entered her Heavenly home April 8, 2020 at Broken Bow Health and Rehab in Broken Bow, OK. She was born in Pickens, OK on October 8, 1946 the daughter of Easies Harry and Marsuise (Colbert) Noah.

Louisa was affiliated with the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Ardmore high school while living at the Carter Seminary Boarding School. After graduation she moved to Tulsa with her husband returning to this area in 1972. She was employed at Lane Poultry. She enjoyed doing word search, playing at the Casino, having lunch at Choctaw Nation senior citizens, singing with Chata Girls and supporting her grandchildren’s events.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jerry Lewis; second husband, Pantaleon Resendiz; special friend, Billy Gene Lambeth; son, Darrell Lewis;  brothers, Larry Noah and Ernest Noah; sisters, Mildred Cusher, Hazel Willis, Arma Jean Billy and Brenda Chockey; granddaughter, Desiree Lewis.

Louisa leaves to cherish her memory her children, Marcella Torres of Idabel, OK, Danny Palmer of Anadarko, OK, Melissa Bohanan and husband, Micheal of Broken Bow, OK, Joni Torres, Randy Resendiz both of Broken Bow, OK and special daughter, Cassandra Willis; one brother, Gary Noah of Broken Bow, OK; twenty three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2020 at Noah Cemetery, Pickens, OK with Bro. Joe Cusher officiating.
