Lucy Woolsey passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the age of 82. She was born to parents, John Kendrick and Ruthie Irene (Peevey) Lone on July 24, 1942 in Madill, Oklahoma.

Lucy was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her younger years she enjoyed playing the drums. She worked as a salesclerk for many years. Her hobbies included shopping, playing at the Casino and bowling with friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Lone; her daughter, Theresa Swift; two sisters and her granddaughter, Maranda McNew.

Lucy is survived by her son, Thomas and Lanette Whitt of the home; daughter, Tibbie Fletcher and Jessie Lyons of Adona, AR; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Family visitation is set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
