Marietta Mae Billy, age 62, of Broken Bow, passed from this life, December 11, 2020, in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born to Rev. Stephen Billy and Rebecca (Tonihka) Billy, on September 6, 1958, in Talihina, OK.
Marietta was a member of the Kulli Chito United Methodist Church of Broken Bow. She loved sewing, cooking, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed spending time outside, cleaning things, and playing softball, horseshoes, and dominoes. She was a strong and caring woman, who persevered; always letting her actions speak for her. Her family was the light in her life, and she loved all of them dearly. The family will always remember her wonderful cooking, but most of all her dressing, peach cobbler, and raisin fried pies.
Marietta was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Rebecca Billy; son, Alan Lewis; brothers, Stephen, Jr., Winston, Wayne, James, Titus, Nathaniel, Daniel, and Joseph Billy.
She leaves the cherish her wonderful memory, her children, Eric Ishcomer, of Broken Bow, Kimberly Lewis and spouse, James Cleghorn, of DeQueen, AR, Jared Morris and spouse, Amanda Bowden, and Kelsey Morris, both of Broken Bow; brother, Thomas Billy, and Jeremiah Billy, both of Broken Bow; sisters, Lula Causey, of Valliant, Christine Billy, of Valliant, Mercedes Watson, of Talihina, Stephanie Young, of Broken Bow, and Candace Bennett, of Valliant; grandchildren, Elijah Lewis, Kayzlei Cleghorn, and Keslyn Morris; as well as, numerous other family and friends.
A graveside service for Marietta will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Kulli Chito Cemetery, in Broken Bow, OK.
