Martha Ann (Ludlow) Smith or as her family affectionately called her, Memaw, of Smithville, Oklahoma passed away December 8, 2024. She was born on September 23, 1941 in Ludlow, Oklahoma to Thomas Ludlow and Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Davis. 

She married the love of her life Carl Smith on May 16, 1959 and they shared 59 years together before his passing. Their greatest joy in life was family starting with their kids, Tamara Kay, Ricky Wayne, and Marty Joe. 

Martha was a proud member of Choctaw Nation and was selected as the outstanding Choctaw senior from the Smithville Seniors in 2019. She enjoyed working with her beads and making earrings and hatbands over the years. Above all things, Martha was a godly woman and spent much of her time working at her church, Cedar Creek Church. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Betty; husband, Carl; son, Ricky; siblings, Rose Lee Senior, Sarah Conley, Zach Williams, Billy Ray Ludlow, Charlie Ludlow, Steve Ludlow, and niece, Sue Brown. 

She is survived by her children, Tamara Spencer and Mark of Broken Bow, Marty Smith of Smithville, Connie Phillips of Smithville, Jimmy Williams of Smithville; siblings, Lee Roy Williams and wife, Connie, of Ludlow, Dora Wall of Athens, TX, Judy Steed and husband, Ricky, of Mount Vernon, TX;  grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Melody Owens, Twauna Williams, Shauna Williams, Cali Towery, Clancey Williams, Scout Smith, Kimberly Stewart, Chelsea Rodriguez, Brock Marable, Raven Dorton, and Zath Marable; great-grandchildren, Keinan Hardaway, Brody Hardaway, Kylie Smith, Jacob Johnston, Jraygan Jacobs, Annalee Owens, Shada Dorsey, Suede Dorsey, Stryder Dorsey, Atticus Towery, and Atlas J Towery; special friends, Opal Blake and Charlene Cusher, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Christ’s Church Little River Valley, Ludlow, OK with Bro. Donnie Childers officiating. Interment to follow at Ludlow Cemetery, Ludlow, OK.
