Mary Ann Williams

Mary Ann Williams was born July 10, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of Samuel and  Montez Sims. She passed to her heavenly home on April 11, 2022, at her home in Broken Bow, OK at the age of 91.

Mary Ann married D.C. Williams April 7, 1950 in Birmingham. They were happily married for 61 years. They were proud, loving parents of their two sons, David and Daryl. She was a homemaker and a military wife and traveled with D.C. as they were stationed in many places throughout his military career. Upon retirement they made their home in Broken Bow.

She loved her church family and was a faithful member of Lukfata Baptist Church. Her main reading material was her Bible. She was a true prayer warrior and a faithful Christian lady. She was Grannie to her five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and they were the joy of her heart. She enjoyed working in her yard, spending time with family and watching sports.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Williams; parents, Samuel and Montez Sims; brother, L.J. and wife Polly Sims.

She is survived by her sons, David and wife, Debbie of Broken Bow, Daryl and wife Debbie Ann of Broken Bow, grandchildren; Tiffany McGowen and husband, Kendell of Edmond OK, Darissa Harkey and husband, Jason of Noble, OK,  Cam Williams and wife, Kristin of Edmond, OK, Brett Williams and wife, Becca of Claremore, OK and Dathan Williams of Dallas, TX; great- grandchildren, Jackson Williams, Bradyn McGowen, Caden Williams, Slate Harkey, Shiloh Harkey, Taylor Williams and Gray Williams.

Visitations will be held from 5-7 P.M., Thursday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 15,2022 at Lukfata Baptist Church with Bro. Chip Pinkerton officiating.  Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
