Mary Edna Miller-Watson passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born January 12, 1935 in Wright City, OK to parents James Jacob Sr. and Nettie (Nakishi) Jacob.

Mary was a devout Christian and member of the St. John Presbyterian Church in Rufe, OK. She was a former CHR, Postal Worker and Lab Tech. In her younger years she was a Political Activist.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to church, traveling, reading and writing letters. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Colbert "Chief" Miller; parents, James & Nettie Jacob; children, Sherman James "Jamie" Miller, Terri Zilliox and husband, Walter "Duke"; brother, James Jacob Jr.; sister, Helen Impson; grandson's; Michael "Stoney" Battiest and Cody "Minko" Miller.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Pat Going-Miller, Pam Jefferson, Richard Miller (Gabi), Tamara Miller (Carlos Paniagua); brothers, Sylvester Isaac Jacob and Rev. Don Jacob; sister, Stella Mae Lawrence; grandchildren, Tyson Going (Synona), Heather Going, Briana Going, Stryder Max Going, Jessie Mackey (Kameron) Justin Jefferson, Annee Harjo Miller, Atola Oncidi, Patrick Blackburn, Kira Dewitt (Logan) Conan Zilliox, Flint Zilliox (Amanda) Nakishi Zilliox, Gabi Miller (Courtney Savill) and Michael Miller; special great-grandson, Mason Battiest (The apple of her eye); special cousins and “Praying Pokanis” Teri Billy, Dorothy Vanhorn and Eleanor Caldwell; a host of other family and friends.

A Wake Service will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK with Rev. Don Jacob officiating. Interment to follow at Nanih Chito Cemetery, Wright City, OK.
