Melinda Lee (Box) Green completed her earthly journey on Monday, October 7, 2024. She was born on Friday, June 13,1969 in Hugo, OK to parents, Melvin Wayne and Mary Lee (Fields) Box.

Melinda cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed bingo, watching Tik Tok videos, her flowers and decorating her yard especially at Christmas. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Roy and Ruth Box; maternal grandparents, Elzie and Claude Fields; her mother and father, Melvin and May Box; sister, Sheila Hunt and brother, Larry Joe Box.

Melinda is survived by her daughters, Sara Box of Oklahoma City, OK and Josie Green of Wright City, OK; siblings, Donald and Youlynda Box of Glover, Gary and Tracy Box of Holly Creek, Glen Box of Atoka, Teresa Hill and Shawn Box both of Wright City; grandchildren, Javin Box, Zaw Basby, Alazia Bagsby, Drayden Box, Jailee Hill, Madden Dickson and Zayden Dickson;aunts and  uncles, Donald Box, Sue Nagel, Doreen Melton, Lavada and Sonny Ellis and George Fields; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services are set for 2:00 P.M., on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Green Chapel Church, Herndon Community.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
