Melvin Lee Wade

Melvin Lee Wade passed from this life April 11, 2021 in Pickens, OK at the age of 77.

He was born in Battiest, OK on April 9, 1944 and lived in the area all of his life.

Melvin loved to fish and watch old western movies. He enjoyed going to church at Abundant Life and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Alice and Eli Williams; uncle and aunt Carlos and Esien Wade; two brothers, Eastman Wade and William Wade and one sister, Verdie Lou Wade.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memory his cousins, Patricia Choate and husband, Floyd, Doris Choate, Darlene Estrada, Diantha Noah, Angela Noah, Arnold Noah and wife Christy; one special friend, Lyndell Ludlow aka (Roy Dale); a host of loving cousins, family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Abundant Life Church in Pickens, OK with Bro Kenneth Noah and Pastor Floyd Choate officiating.
