Melvin Leon (Billy) Wilson, age 91, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed from this life, January 27, 2021, in Idabel, OK.

Melvin was born, April 29, 1929, to Albert Wilson and Virgie (Burris) Wilson, in Broken Bow, OK.

He and Ossie Ramsey were united in marriage, November 22, 1953, in Broken Bow, OK, they enjoyed 67 wonderful years together.

Melvin enjoyed farming, gardening, and hunting. He was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Melvin loved attending church, gospel concerts, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. His favorite moments were spent on his farm and visiting with his friends around the neighborhood.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Virgie Wilson; daughter, Pamela S. Abrams; brother, Albert Wilson, Jr.; sisters, Zeola Gordon, Zelma Wilson, and Lessie Daniels; brother-in-law, Jewell Daniels; son-in-law, Dale L. Dunigan; nephew, Larry E. Wilson; niece, Lauren Wilson.

A viewing for family and friends will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, February 5, 2021, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be, 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home – Chapel, with Elder Aster Cooper II and Pastor E. B. McGraw officiating, burial will follow at the Lukfata Cemetery, in Broken Bow, OK.
