Mia Malay Nix, age 18 of Broken Bow, OK passed away on Tuesday, April, 2025 at Tulsa, OK. She was born on July 17, 2006 at Baton Rouge, LA. 

Mia was a Senior at Broken Bow High School. She liked her fancy coffee from KJs in Broken Bow. Mia enjoyed playing on her phone and having her nails done. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Broken Bow and an avid listener of Christian Rap, Lecrae being her favorite.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, WD (Dub) Nix; aunt, Hope Stout and cousins, Jasmyn Nix and Beau Stout.

Mia leaves to cherish her memory;  her parents Kent and Carey Nix of the home, her sister, MaKenzie Adams of Broken Bow, her brother, Cameron Nix of Broken Bow, her God-sister, Courtney Nix of Cullman, AL., her brother-in-law, Russ Adams, her paternal grandmother, Daisy Nix of Broken Bow, her maternal grandparents, Dennis and Brenda Copeland of Broken Bow,  her nieces, Addelyn Nix, Avalee Nix, Everly Adams, Clear Nix and Kaydence Adams of Broken Bow. Her aunts and uncles, Doug and Shiloh Copeland of Broken Bow, Terry and Cheryl Nix of Broken Bow, Glendell and Margaret Nix of Edmond, Ok., Debbie and Stan Miller of Branson, Mo., Sarah and Bob Tidmore of Muskogee, Ok., Amee and Kane Price of Broken Bow and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the funeral home.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 13,2025 at the Broken Bow First Assembly of God Church.
