Micah Willis Obituary

Micah Dean Willis, age 38 years, 2 months, and 6 days, left the earth, on September 2, 2020, at the Paris Regional Medical Center, in Paris, Texas.

He was born on June 26, 1982, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, to Michael Willis and Arma Jean (Noah) Billy.

Micah was preceded in death by his mother, Arma Jean (Noah) Billy; two sisters, Georgina Willis and Lisa Resendiz.

Micah is survived by his son, Krypton McKinny, of Hugo; father, Michael Willis of Broken Bow; brother, Anthony (A-Train) Willis of Broken Bow; two sisters, Jamie Leigh Willis of Broken Bow and Paula Meaders of Fayetteville, AR; two aunts, Jennifer Willis and Marie Harden, both of Broken Bow; two uncles, Gary Noah, of Broken Bow and Herod Willis, of Idabel; along with a tribe of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Micah obtained his GED, then attended Paris Junior College, graduating in 2010, with a certification in masonry and welding.

Micah loved singing Karaoke and free style rapping. He was a big jokester and you never knew when he would throw you into the spotlight. He always looked forward to a good challenge and often found one on the domino table or in pool tournaments. Micah was a diehard Texas Longhorns fan and he wasn’t afraid to let you know he was either. He enjoyed being outdoors and by the river. Most of all, he loved being around his family and always looked forward to the next family gathering.

As we lay Micah to rest today, we will all remember and miss his crazy antics, the arguments, and the general questions of life that sometimes made you ponder your own life. We each hold a special and dear memory of him, so as we depart and go our separate ways, let these memories put a smile on our faces and in our hearts forever.

That was Micah Dean.
