Michael Glen Willis, Sr., age 57, of Broken Bow, passed from this life into eternity, November 10, 2020, in Idabel, surrounded by his family.
Glen was born, July 27, 1963, in Talihina, OK, to Jimmerson Willis and Annie Mae (Wilson) Willis.
Glen was a spiritual man and believed in God. He loved tinkering on things and fishing. He was a quiet man, who liked to meditate. Glen would rather be outside than inside. He enjoyed nature by listening to the birds and the wind blowing through the trees. Glen loved his family and loved sitting around laughing and joking with his grandkids. His family will always remember him as a humble, tough loving, strong spirited man, who was always quick to forgive and never held a grudge. His easy-going spirit will live on through all that knew him, he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmerson and Annie Mae Willis; daughter, Belinda Rose Willis; brother, Allen Charles Willis; sisters, Shirley Wilson, Betty Morales, and Sara Salisbury; grandson, Nathan Dewayne Willis; and special friend, Danny Watson.
Glen is survived by his children, Nikisha Ford and husband, Walter, Laquanta Willis, Amy Bond and husband, Rhon, Jimmerson Willis and wife, Jessica, and Michael G Willis, Jr., all of Durant, and Chimon Willis, of Broken Bow; brothers, Andrew Willis and wife, Darlene, Jimmy R. “Coon” Willis, and Nathan Willis; sisters, Minnie Jones, and Fay Shomo, all of Broken Bow; 23 grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A viewing for family and friends will be on, Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held on, Friday, November 13, 2020, at 10:00 AM, at the Watson Memorial Cemetery.
