Michiel Dewayne Miller, age 68, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, after a long battle with cancer and other health issues. He was born on August 19, 1957, the son of Hiram Wesley Miller and Edna Mae McConnell Miller, all of Broken Bow, OK.

He was a General Contractor by trade and possessed many skills and talents.

He will be remembered by his friends and family as someone who would give you the shirt from off his back or give you his last meal if you were in need. He struggled through many challenges during his life but never forgot his childhood Christian upbringing. Those principles were his moral compass. He confirmed his unwaivering faith in his salvation, given freely by the LORD JESUS CHRIST, on June 27, 2026. He is now with his LORD in peace.

He loved music and fishing, and he was in hope that there would be bass on the other side.

He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, and mother of his three children, Linda Gay Fitch Miller; and his father and his mother, Michiel is survived by his children, Gary Dewayne Miller and wife Sarah of Muskogee, OK, and their son, Lane and wife Emma of Tulsa, OK; and their son Scott of Norman, OK; his son Gus of Muskogee, OK and their daughter, Kate and granddaughter, Evelyn of Checotah, OK. Michiel is also survived by his son, Adam Miller of Muskogee, OK; and Michiel’s son Joe Miller of Broken Bow, OK; and his daughters, Ashetyn Miller and Josie Belle Miller both of Murfreesboro, TN; and his son Steffan Miller of Muskogee, OK; his brother, H.J. Miller of Union Grove, OK; brother, Wesley Miller and wife Sherri of Stigler, OK; and brother Ed Miller and Colleen of Mena, AR and Battiest, OK.

Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends including the “TRIBE”. Special thanks to his friends Andrew, Sissy, Tiffany, Sandy and the other Sissie and Debra whom all helped him so much in his times of great need. He loves you all.

Services will be held at the Hochatown Assembly Church at 10AM, Friday, July 10, 2026, with interment following at the Hochatown Cemetery, under the direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, OK.
