Mildred Louise Harder Obituary

Mildred Louise Harder entered her Heavenly Home Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the age of 85. She
was born on August 24, 1937 in Muse, Oklahoma and was the daughter of E.D. and Edith
(Walker) Spradling.

Mildred attended school in Clebit, OK through the eighth grade and then
Battiest High School until she graduated in 1956.
On May 28, 1955 Mildred married her high school sweetheart, Delmar Ray Harder. They shared
sixty-seven wonderful years together. They had four children, Debbie, Rick, Keith and Darren.
Mildred was a woman of service to her family and community. She was a faithful Christian and
member of the Pickens Assembly of God Church. She celebrated God’s creation through
photography, gardening, and regularly served others with her creative gifts of cooking and
singing. Even in her work as Postmaster and Battiest General Store owner she embraced every
opportunity to share the love of Christ. Among others, she served as a member of the Kiamichi
Family Medical Board and Little Dixie Community Action Board. Above all of the roles in her life,
she cherished being Wife, Mama and Nana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, E.D. and Edith Spradling and sister, Winnie Carter.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Delmar Harder of the home; children,
Debbie Williams (Jerry) of Colleyville, TX, Ricky Harder of Broken Bow, Keith Harder (Lois) of
Pickens, Darren Harder (Angela) of Battiest; grandchildren, Lesli Bushnell (Tripp), Aaron Harder
(Megan), Lauren Perkins (Evan), Hayden Harder (Sarah), Wren Harder, Bethany Bixler (Clark),
Tori Harder (Jerome); great-grandchildren, Ella, Harper and Pierce Bushnell, Jaden Harder, Eli
and Isla Perkins, Delilah and Dally Harder, Tatum Butler, Callahan Bixler, Keynen and Kaysen
Warren; brothers, Darrell Spradling (Terri) of Broken Bow, Don Spradling (Kay) of Tyler, TX, Walt
Spradling (Veronica) of Ardmore, OK, Joe Spradling (Bev) of Battiest; sisters, Beverly Stuart
(V.O.) of Idabel, Sharlot Engler of Tulsa, OK and Peggy Treanor of Pocahontas, AR; special
friend and caregiver, Theresa Wiley as well as her church family; a host of nieces, nephews and
a multitude of friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home
Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Pickens Assembly of God
Church, Pickens, OK with Bro. Walt Spradling and Bro. Jeff Mattox officiating. Interment to
follow at County Line Cemetery, Pickens, OK.
